Timothy
S. Rosenberg
J.D.
Timothy S. Rosenberg is a member of the law firm, Harvey & Mortensen
located in Berwyn, Pennsylvania where he practices primarily Information
Security and Knowledge Management law. In addition, he heads up the firm's
Lancaster, Pennsylvania office where the firm's consulting arm, Harvey
Mortensen Consulting, has its information security practice, White
Wolf Security, headquartered.
Mr. Rosenberg provides currently security consulting and training for
law firms, businesses, and governmental entities. Mr. Rosenberg's clients
range from the United States Postal Inspectors to the United States Army
War College (Center for Strategic Leadership) to the United States Military
Academy (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department).
Since graduating from Villanova University School of Law in 1997, Mr.
Rosenberg has worked in the Information Technology field. He served as
a developer and software tester for Andersen Consulting. Later, for Shared
Medical Systems, he was a developer, Internet architect and information
security specialist. In 1999, Mr. Rosenberg joined Internet Security Systems
as a Senior Systems Engineer working on development and implementation
issues, including security training, with ISS clients.
In 2000, Mr. Rosenberg left ISS to start his own company, White Wolf
Consulting. Here, he contracted with the CyberSecurity Center of Carnegie
Mellon Research Institute to provide essential security training and analysis.
The Center was Carnegie Mellon's venture to leverage the knowledge base
of the reknown Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), which is relied
upon by the technology industry for critical information security updates.
In June of 2001, White Wolf Consulting was merged with the Harvey &
Mortensen's consulting arm expanding and enhancing the firm's expertise
in information security.
Mr. Rosenberg has presented several Information Security Seminars to
both information technology specialists and policy initiators, such as
business executives, corporate counsels, and security officers. Through
his research, Mr. Rosenberg provided information to Winn Schwartau for
Mr. Schwatau's book Cybershock. In addition, he developed an approved
Continuing Legal Education course on Information Security for attorneys.
He has taught a wide variety of students from the US Military, state and
federal law enforcement, attorneys, and corporate systems administrators.
